Dragon Boating

The Dragon Boating program provides Autistic youth and adults with a fun opportunity to work on fitness, team building, and social skills while training to compete in the Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival. The Dragon Boating program is possible due to the partnership with the Britannia Community Centre.


CAN is no longer requiring a formal autism diagnosis for individuals over 13 years of age who are interested in accessing CAN programs or services. Learn more >>

Program Structure

  • Each session is 2 hours, once per week, for 12 weeks.
  • Sessions for this program take place once per year in the Spring (April to June).
  • The ratio of staff/volunteers to participant is 1:3.

Supports Provided

At Canucks Autism Network, we recognize that each autistic individual is unique. All individuals across the autism spectrum are welcome in our programs.
