The Outdoor Recreation program offers participants with autism the opportunity to try a range of outdoor activities alongside peers and under the leadership of experienced instructors. Activities vary by season but may include hiking, rock climbing and paddling. A great chance to try new things, have fun and meet new people in your community.
Outdoor Rec runs once a month, with registration taking place on a month-to-month basis.
- Each event runs on one Thursday evening a month, for 1.5 hours (5:00pm-6:30pm)
- Each lesson consists of 5-10 participants who may be split into smaller groups
The Outdoor Rec program is run in partnership with Power to Be.
