Registration
The Outdoor Recreation program, in partnership with Power to Be, provides autistic youth and adults with an introduction to outdoor activities such as snowshoeing, kayaking, hiking, geocaching, and rock climbing.
Program Structure
Outdoor Rec runs once a month, with registration taking place on a month-to-month basis.
- Each event runs on one Thursday evening a month, for 1.5 hours (5:00pm-6:30pm)
- Each lesson consists of 5-10 participants who may be split into smaller groups
The Outdoor Rec program is run in partnership with Power to Be.

At Canucks Autism Network, we recognize that each individual with autism is unique. All individuals across the autism spectrum are welcome in our programs.

Program Criteria
- Ages 13+ (Must be of correct age when starting the program)
- Have an autism diagnosis and an active CAN Membership
- Individuals across the autism spectrum are welcome
- Commitment to attend session (See Attendance Policy)
