Registration
Summer Day Camps provides participants with the opportunity to attend themed day camps. Camp themes include bike and sports, arts and crafts, adventure, and science. Participants are supported by a high ratio of trained staff and dedicated volunteers to ensure skill development and activity engagement, as well as to encourage participants to get to know each other and build peer relationships.
Program Structure
Summer Day Camp (Full-Day & Half-Day)
- Runs for five consecutive days; 9:00am-4:00pm daily (full-day); 9:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-4:00pm (half-day)
- Activities vary each week based on theme (see details below)
- Up to 10 participants with autism will be enrolled in each session
- Participants are provided with a high ratio of support (1:1 or 2:1 available if needed)
Youth and Adult Camp (Full-Day & Half-Day)
- Runs for four consecutive days; 9:00am-4:00pm daily (full-day); 9:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-4:00pm (half-day)
- Activities vary each week based on theme (see details below)
- Up to 10 participants with autism will be enrolled in each session
- Participants are provided with a high ratio of support (1:1 or 2:1 available if needed)




Supports Provided
At Canucks Autism Network, we strive to meet the needs of each participant through parent and participant collaboration. Our staff receive training on a variety of support strategies for individuals with autism. Please do not hesitate to speak with our staff on-site about strategies that should be implemented (e.g., visual schedules, first-then boards, token systems, social stories, etc).
Program Criteria
- Participants must meet session’s age requirements as of the first day of the program
- Have an active CAN membership
- Commit to pay subsidized program fee (See Program Fee Payment Options)
- Individuals across the autism spectrum are welcome (ratio of support can be adjusted if necessary; 1:1 or 2:1 available if needed)

Registration for Virtual Active, Virtual Movement, and Virtual Youth and Adult Programs closed on Friday, July 17 at noon; however, late registration requests can be made by emailing [email protected] with the following information:
