Eulalia Family Fundraiser

In July of 2023, my son Andre was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and while my wife Charissa and I always had a feeling, it still felt like a shock. What’s even more shocking, however, is the complexity and frustrations of navigating the health care system.

From therapies, getting a diagnosis, waitlists, obtaining funding, it’s all such a process and I’m lucky to have a partner who was very much on top of it all.

Public wait lists for psychology assessments are 2-3 years while private assessments cost upwards of $3,000. Early intervention and therapies are proven to give Autistic individuals the best outcomes, but the current system in no way provides this necessity.

Not every person has someone like Charissa (that our family is extremely lucky to have) so in addition to running for Andre, I’m dedicating this run to all the families and neurodivergent individuals that truly need the support.

My goal is not to fundraise money but instead to spread awareness. Every donation is greatly appreciated, but taking the time to visit this page is more than enough.” – Leo Eulalia
