Family Camp

Family CampCanucks Autism Network Family Camp will not be offered in 2017. Our goal at Canucks Autism Network is to accommodate as many unique individuals as possible into our programs. The nature of our family camp restricts the number of participants with autism that we can impact. Our Kids, Teens and Young Adults Overnight Camp allows us to impact more individuals with autism in a safe and highly supported environment.

We value accessibility and are committed to a barrier-free and inclusive environment. We do not wish for any of our subsidized program fees to act as a barrier to program participation. Unlike our Family Camp program fee, the Kids, Teens and Young Adults Overnight Camp program fee is eligible to be paid through a participant’s autism funding, and additional payment options, including a fee assistance program, are also available.

Our Kids, Teens and Young Adults Camp provides participants with an opportunity to have a great time making new friends while taking part in a variety of typical camp activities. Camp participants are highly supported by trained staff and dedicated volunteers, which allows parents and caretakers to enjoy a break knowing that their son or daughter is receiving the high-quality support they require. Online registration opens for pending enrolment on Monday, April 10, at noon, and closes on Friday, April 14, at noon.

Canucks Autism Network values a sense of belonging where all families living with autism are welcome and appreciated and can support one another through shared experience. It is for this reason that we will continue to provide family events throughout the year. In addition, we continue to expand our Family Event offerings in regions across the province as a means to increase the number of opportunities for families living with autism to meet and connect with one another.
